September 2017 Teachers of the Month

Each month at Pirate Pete Preschool the teachers vote for one another to share who they think has done an exceptional job in our program.  Here are this month's winners:

Miss M is recognized for her creative lessons and good classroom management.  She is interactive and calls on a variety of kids at circle time and is very good at handling the 'squeaky' kids.  She has eyes over the whole room and sees everything to react right away and is always prepared and has great lessons that are energetic and fun.  She uses her time both on planning and teaching days wisely; Miss M is great with every kid and is really nice too.

Miss P is recognized for being so very helpful when it comes to doing anything in the preschool.  She helps out and is really good at getting the kids quiet at circle time.  She has great classroom management and is great at handling difficult students.  She is super helpful in many ways and is always talking and playing with the kids to make sure everyone is having fun.  She made a very creative bulletin board and is also great at helping with kids who are sad or upset and crying at the start of the preschool year.  She has a great calming effect on the class and is ready to lend a hand to anyone.  When a kid who usually doesn’t listen acts up, she takes care of it and doesn’t let things carry over.  She always tries her best to help out and be with every single preschooler in the program so they get as much work done as possible.

Miss E is recognized for always having a positive, can-do attitude and is always ready for anything.  She helps out so much and is really good with the teachers and preschoolers alike.  She is also very nice to ask for help when you need it and has done a great job teaching multiple times this month and has a natural way of talking with the kids.  She works really well with all the kids and is very understanding and her activities keep them engaged.  Miss E’s positive energy is contagious and she is always helping with cleanup and making sure the kids are working.

This month Miss B's bulletin board earned Board of the Month for her creativity in making a fish tank.
